Our approach
We build software that respects your privacy. We aim to collect as little information as possible, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Information we do not collect
Our apps are designed to work locally on your device. In particular, Clipster stores your clipboard history and saved clips only on your Mac. That data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not accessible to us. We do not require an account to use Clipster.
Information we may collect
- Contact information: if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.
- Diagnostics you choose to send: if you submit a crash report or support request, it may include technical details about your device and the issue.
- App store & platform data: when you download or purchase our apps, the relevant platform (e.g. Apple) processes the transaction and may share aggregate, non-identifying statistics with us under its own terms.
- Website analytics: our website may collect basic, anonymised usage information to help us understand traffic. We do not use this to identify individuals.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- diagnose problems and improve our Services;
- understand, in aggregate, how our Services are used.
Sharing
